Steve Brand, CPA, MBA

Steve Brand joined GAP Resources at the end of 2011 with an extensive background in merger and acquisition financial reporting and accounting processes for insurance companies. His work in this area addressed both GAAP and statutory financial statements, as well as process based integration activities. Complimenting Steve’s financial expertise, he has managed and participated in the successful implementation of new accounting software and upgrades including general ledger, accounts payable, asset management, accounts receivable, billing and business warehouse applications. Finally, Steve also has extensive compliance and internal audit background working to improve both operational process and financial controls.

Steve’s professional background was gained at Allstate. He has a BS in Accounting from Southern Illinois University and a MBA from the University of Illinois, Chicago.
